Transforming this 1960s split level in Ellicott City was a joyful collaboration centered around a bright, expanded kitchen inspired by our clients’ travels through Scandinavia.

Utilizing space from the rarely used formal dining room and living room, we opened the layout to create better flow, added clean-lined cabinetry, warm wood accents, and layers of soft natural light to achieve an airy, modern feel. Every decision balanced simplicity with function, supporting how they cook, gather, and live day to day. The result is a fresh, welcoming home that feels both contemporary and comfortable.
