Andrea is founder and principal designer at Blue Jute Interiors. For two decades, her professional guidance and calm direction have supported clients to connect more soulfully with their interiors.
Andrea’s soft skills include listening with empathy, communicating complex ideas simply, and responding diplomatically and effectively to any challenge.
Andrea studied interior design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her favorite aspect of the design process is creatively honoring a client’s collection of art, objects and photo memories by showcasing these special pieces within a room’s design.
When not designing in the studio or visiting with clients and trade partners, Andrea enjoys spending time with family. Her favorite pastime is relaxing with coffee and a good book while visiting one of the many historic towns in the Baltimore area and on Maryland’s eastern shore.
Andrea has a soft spot for rescue dogs (lives with two) and spends much of her weekend time remaining curious and teaching Pilates.
